Team Management

Managing teams, members, and API keys.

Every user belongs to a team. When you register, a default team is created automatically.

OwnerManage billing, members, supplier settings, and tokens; transfer ownership

Members

Team owners and admins can invite members by email from Dashboard → Team Members. Both existing and new users receive an invitation email. Membership is added only after the recipient signs in with the matching verified email and accepts the invitation. Invitations expire after seven days and reserve a seat while pending. Reinviting the same email replaces its old link. Team member limits apply to concurrent invitations.

Email-domain autojoin requires platform approval of ownership and a verified email. Contact support to approve, change or disable a domain; entering a domain in a team setting does not establish ownership.

Items

Items are your team's own part numbers, each with the manufacturer part numbers you buy it as. Team owners and admins manage them on Dashboard → Items, by hand or with a CSV import, and every member can search them.

See Items.

Watchlist and Team Part Numbers

Teams on Pro and Enterprise can maintain personal and team watchlists with risk-focused monitoring.

For full workflow details, see:

Custom Supplier API Keys

Starter, Pro, and Enterprise teams can control which suppliers are enabled for their searches. Pro and Enterprise teams can also add their own supplier API keys. When a search is performed, Elexess checks for team-specific keys before falling back to default keys.

This enables:

  • Private pricing — See your negotiated prices
  • Account access — Use your supplier account within configured request limits
  • Full access — Some suppliers require a registered key

Navigate to Dashboard → Suppliers to manage supplier controls and credentials.

API Tokens

API tokens allow programmatic access to the search endpoint.

  • Tokens start with el_live_
  • Shown once on creation — save it immediately
  • Can be revoked at any time
  • Track last usage for auditing

Creating a Token

  1. Go to Team → API Tokens
  2. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Production ERP")
  3. Click Create token
  4. Copy the token immediately
